Autumn 2015 - Kirsten Whitehouse's Fundraising Page

Kirsten has set herself the target of completing 4 major ocr challenges, one a month from September - December, in order to raise funds for E4N... 

1) One True Grit, 20 September - 10k elite wave

2) Bear Grylls Survival Race, 3 October - 10k elite wave

3) Men's Health - Survival of the Fittest, 21 November - 10k wave 2

4) Judgement Day does Nuts Challenge, 12 December - 7k team event 

 

22 August 2015 - Tarsus Tools Tough Mudders

A brave (and slightly mad) team of colleagues at Tarsus Group will be attacking the Tough Mudder to raise money for us. They are training like mad and preparing for the challenge ahead!

 

19 July 2015 - Bebs Does Kili fundraising page

Tracy Bebbington E4N Steering Committe member is set to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.  She will trek and climb nearly 6,000 metres to reach the summit of one of the world's greatest 7 peaks, which has been described as standing on the roof of Africa. 

 

11 July 2015 - TPL 3 Peakers' fundraising page

TPL - a division of Clarion Events, which organises events for the Telecoms, Payment and Life Sciences sectors is taking on the 3 Peaks Challenge. The group, let by Gregg Hackett has set a fundraising taret of £7,500 to help continue to support the vital work for the community of Namuwongo.

 

20 June 2015 - Team Namuwongo Climbs Mount Ventoux fundraising page

The Events for Namuwongo Cycling team is going to tackle one of the hardest, if not the hardest Tour De France climb - Mount Ventoux. Team members from Tarsus. tfconnect, ITE Exhibitions, Event Advantage Solutions (EAS), Investec, Numis Securities and Majedie are aiming to raise £10k for E4N.

Artexis easyFairs Group have put together a team of 15 unfit exhibition organisers to run, sweat, trip and generally embarrass themselves in order to raise money for E4N.

 

22 June 2014 - London to Paris Events Industry Bike Ride

London to Paris

The Events for Namuwongo team will take on the London to Paris bike ride in June! The challenge involves cycling over 250 miles, starting from the UK's capital through the English countryside over to rural France and on to the heart of Paris, finishing under the Eiffel Tower.

In the Rough – The NEC Event Industry Charity Golf Day is based on the on the highly successful BECA & ESSA Golf Days, supporting E4N and a UK charity and bringing together organisers, venues and service suppliers in a day that combines fun, entertainment and a chance to network.

4 October 2014 - 533km cycle from Ho Chi Minh City to Angkor Wat

This group of four are taking on a challenging eight day cycle through the heart of Vietnam, crossing the border into Cambodia to the country's famous UNESCO world heritage site. They'll be navigating these famously manic roads in order to raise money for Hope for Children, Events for Namuwongo's partner.
